Match Report Press Report

Wykeham Exiles 3 Lost to Winchester 5.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 4 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Arjun Takhar, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 93 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Michael Dunne.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Chris Whelan, who over-turned a 565 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
